Residents invited to name former Berkeley Hospital building

We are calling on the public to help us name the former Berkeley Hospital which is being converted into 8 apartments.

Members of the public can submit ideas for what they think the 18th century building should be called as it moves from medical usage, after its closure in 2009, to residential after its development by Adapt Real Estate.

The estate agents hope to release two show flats in June and the whole scheme in Marybrook Street is set to be completed by the end of August.

Partner at ADAPT Real Estate, Adam Fletcher commented:

“We are excited about breathing new life into this once loved building (closed c. 2009), and have been really encouraged by the initial level of enquiries. We are keen to involve the local community in asking them to come forward with their suggestions of a new name for the Former Hospital. As a bit of fun for the community, we’re offering a bottle of champagne to the person that provides a building name that we end up selecting.”
